The Vienna automatic grinder and espresso machine from Saeco is only $425. Is it any good?

So far, the only credible review I’ve found is on the (most excellent) CoffeeGeek.com site. The reviewer indicates that more oily beans (usually darker roasts) can cause problems. That’s a big red flag for me, since I buy only dark roast.

Do any other espresso addicts have an opinion?

Well, I’ve got my Dad’s Christmas gift picked out for this year: The Numark TTUSB Turntable. It allows recording of vinyl records to digital audio files and works with Mac or PC.

Now all he needs is a USB 8-track player and my Dad will be a happy camper…
